023 | A long neat stone building, standing on the property of the Feuars of Peterhead, at the west end of Queen's Street. Adjoining is the goods shed and Engine house built of stone, also a long wooden carriage shed. For its size it is well laid off, having all the facilities of a large terminal station, though on a smaller scale. The designof the present buildings originally was for temporary accommodation in view of a larger and more permanent Station near the Harbours, but the present buildings are likely to be found amply sufficient for the traffic at this end of the line for years to come |
