The parish of Petterculter (Proper) contains about 10020 Statute acres and is bounded on the south, by the parish of Maryculter; on the west, by the parishes of Drumoak and Echt; on the north by the parish of Skene; and on the east by the parishes of Newhills, Banchory Devenick (Proper), Banchory Devenick (Detd) [Detached] and the portion numbered (2) of Lands, Common to the parish of Peterculter, and those parts of the parish of Banchory Devenick in the County of Aberdeen, through which a boundary between the parishes cannot be determined. The detached portion of Peterculter parish contains about 268 Statute acres and is bounded on the south by Auchlunies Inch in Maryculter parish; on the west by Banchory Devenick (Detd) [Detached]; on the east by Banchory Devenick (Proper); and on the north by the portion number 2 of Lands Common described above. The Lands (No. 1) Common to the parish of Peterculter and those parts of the parish of Banchory Devenick in the county of Aberdeen, and through which a boundary between the parishes cannot be determined; contains about 148 Statute acres and is locally situated within the southern part of the parish of Peterculter (Proper). Lands Common (No. 2) described above, contains about 211 Statute acres and is bounded partly on south by Peterculter (Detd) [Detached]; partly on the south and wholly on the east by Banchory Devenick (Proper); wholly on the north and partly on the west by Peterculter (Proper); and partly on the west by Banchory Devenick (Detd) [Detached].
