044 A ford on the river Ury half a mile east of Mill of Pitmedden. It was originally called Strathorn Ford, but as Queen Victoria crossed the Ury at this place some years ago it is now called Queen's Ford. Two farmers were drowned here about six years returning from a sale at Chapel.
