075 A stone, about 8 feet in length and about 2 feet square, standing in a field near Hilton House. Tradition says "that it is one of several stones which formed a Circle, and that they were erected by the Druids." There is no trace of the others, on the ground now.

An ornamental piece of ground situated in front of Hilton Ho. [House]: On it Sir William Johnston drilled a Regiment of Soilders, which he raised in 1798 at his own Expense, and was called "The Prince of Wales' Own". The Regiment did not serve very long, having been disbanded suddenly in 1802, for some unknown reason.
