072 ; 073 ; 083 ; 084 | The parish of Midmar is in the Presbytery of Kincardine O'Neil, Synod of Aberdeen. Patron, the Crown and Sir J. Forbes Baronet. The parish of Midmar contains about 10872 Statute acres and is bounded on the east and part of the south by Echt parish; on the south partly by Banchory Ternan and partly by Kincardine O'Neil parishes; on the west by Kincardine O'Neil and the detached part of Cluny parish; and on the north, north east, north west, by the parish of Cluny (Proper). There are no detached portions of Midmar Parish, nor are there any detached portions of another parish situated within it. But the detached portion of Cluny parish is situated between the parishes of Midmar and Kincardine O'Neil. It contains about 998 Statute acres and it is drawn with the parish of Midmar, and the names in it are included in this Name Book. |
