070 A pretty well known name of an old Croft the buildings of which have been removed except some ruins which may still be seen on the ground, the spring or well, it is said, also to be defaced by the bed of a strong stream called upon the Estate map Belbo Burn The name seems to be a corruption of the Gaelic word for the Cow's mouth or Cow's Gap &c.
