081 | A small hollow, in a stripe of fir plantation, at the side of an old road, situated about a quarter of a mile N.E. [North East] of Logie Coldston parish church. It is said to have been the residence of some of the Picts, but no remains are to be found which would lead to the supposition of it ever having been inhabited by the people from which the name is derived, excepting the fact of the ground being hollow underneath. |
