053 | About 12 years since while Mr John Thomson was trenching a piece of muirland he came upon two urns. They were sunk about 18 inches in a sand hillock, and were filled with charred wood pieces of bones, and black earth. The laird happening to be about the hill at the time they were found took them away to Leith Hall, where I understand they are at present. |
