Mr J Bisset, Inverury
054 This road, which diverged from the Roman Road at the Druidical Circle south of Port Elphinstone in Kintore Parish, entered the parish of Inverury at the ford on the Don Known as Broad Ford, and passing through the present farmsteading of Overboat, where the track can still be seen, led up through the arable fields to the summit of Corsman Hill, and from thence, on to the farmsteading of Davo. From Overboat to Corsman Hill the track is lost, but from that to Davo it is quite distinct. From Davo to the public road from Inverury past the Mains of Blackhall it is again obliterated, but from this point, passing the farmsteading of Dubstone it forms a regular public thoroughfare still, as far as a cothouse on the farm of Netherton, a few chains from which, it joins the Roman Road from Inverury. The junction cannot now be seen as it occurred in what is now an arable field.
