026 | A large and handsome building Surmounted with a Belltower, Bell and clock. It was erected in 1840 with vestry and another meeting room attached to the north end of the house. When it was erected there was Seats only for 900, but in 1864 it was enlarged by Some improvements being made in the inside. There is now 1000 Sittings in it, also a well attended choir. It is Situated at the West end of Bogie Street and is enclosed by a wall the west side of which bounds Stuart Lane. |
