026 One of these stones appears to have been of some note, having a figure deeply incised on it, representing in shape a horse-shoe, All the information I can obtain about it, shews, that for what purpose it is quite unknown. They are also mentioned amongst the Sculptured stones of Scotland, as the "Standing Stones of Strathbogie".
