081 A large stream issuing out of the lower end of Loch Davan. It forms throughout its course, which is south eastward, the boundary between the parishes of Logie Coldstone and Glenmuick Tullich & Glengairn, also betwen the latter parish and the parish of Aboyne, and Glentanner; but it only receives this name from the above loch to where a stone marked A.B. stands on its left bank, situated immediately below the farmsteading of Monandavan, after which point it receives the name of Dinnet Burn to where it empties its waters into the River Dee at the Mill of Dinnet.
