081 | This name is applied to a small island in Loch Kinord near it northern side. It is circular in shape and is believed to have been used as a prison at the time King Malcolm's Castle, which was built on a neighbouring island, and, was inhabited. There are still to be seen a few wooden stakes driven perpendicularly into it. It is now covered with wood. |

There is not the slightest trace of the building to be seen now. The island is used as pasturage for sheep. A small island situated a short distance eastward from it was used as a prison in connexion with the building. * |
