090 | This monument is built of grey granite stones, entirely without mortar. In shape it is a quadrangular pyramid, and is situated on the summit of a hill called Creag an Lurachan. It bears the following inscription : To the beloved memory of Albert, The Great and Good, Prince Consort, erected by his broken hearted widow, Victoria R. 21st Augt [August] 1862 He being made perfect in a short time, Fulfilled a long time, For his soul pleased the Lord, Therefore hasted He to take Him away from among the wicked.
