064 An upright and partly hewn stone, surmounted by a ball, also of stone, it is 10 feet high, and is coeval with the building of Castle Fraser. John Bell was the architect of the Castle, and it is traditionally believed that this stone was erected in commemoration of, and named after him, it should be regarded as an antiquity in the plans.
