046 | A small, extremely plain building erected A.D. 1806, it is situated near to the centre of the Parish and can accommodate 200 persons. It is surrounded by a well kept burial ground, leaning against the east wall are two rudely carved figures representing a Knight in Armour, and his Dame. They are said to have occupied a place in the old Church but when it was erected cannot be ascertained the present one is built on the site of it . |
