042 | About 34 years ago, when the above Gentleman, was removing another Cairn of stones, a little West of the farm house he discovered a small sepulchral Chamber, composed of flags of freestone, hammered Square, and neatly constructed It was about 4 ft [feet] 3 in [inches]: long - 4 ft.[feet] broad, and 18 inches deep, containing the remains of a body doubled up lying East & west. The skull was entire & an indentation was observed in the earth under the right shoulder resembling the size & shape of a pocket bible. (same as No. [ Number] 2.) |
