075 A Church now nearly in ruins, formerly it was one of the City Churches but at the disruption in 1843 the Minister and Congregation left it for the Free Church it fell into disuse on account of a dispute betwixt the Town Council and the Presbytery of Aberdeen as to ownership, it stands on the site of King William the Lion's Palace which subsequently became the Monastery of the Trinity Friars.
