1797 I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify That upon carefull
Examination of the foresaid Rates & duties I find they amount in Whole to One
hundred & Sixty two pounds twelve Shillings Sterling; and that upon the 27th Current
I delivered to Mr Thomas Wingate in Stirling Collector of the said duties for the County aforesaid
an Exact duplicate of this Account which contained my Oath that Requisitions were
delivered to the several Inhabitants or left at their dwelling Houses and that Returns
were made to the same or Charges made by me to the best of my knowledge & belief that
They are liable to the said dutys hereby Certified as due from them.
