I James Watsone Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that the above William Hamilton
Esqr was duly served with a Requisition and Notice whereby he was to be charged with
above Two pounds fifteen shillings Sterl. [Sterling] as the duties of the above Male Servants: And
that upon the Tenth day of this current month of October I delivered to Mr William Napier
Collector for the foresaid Borough of Linlithgow an exact Duplicate of this Survey
which contained my oath to the above effect
