I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid Do hereby certify that upon carefull
Examination of the foregoing Rates and Duties find that they amount in whole to One pound Seven shillings
and six pence sterling and that this day I delivered to John McAulay Collector of the said duties for
the Burgh of Dumbarton an exact duplicate of the above account, which contained my oath
that a Requisition was left with the foregoing Inhabitant or at his dwelling and that he
was to be charged according to his return, or my information knowledge or belief that he was
liable in the said duties ~ David Hutcheson
