Survey of Duties on MALE SERVANTS TAX. in the Burgh of Dumbarton
from 5th April 1788 till 5th April 1789 by David Hutcheson Surveyor

I David Hutcheson Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify, that upon carefull examination of the foregoing
several Rates and Duties, I find they amount in whole to One pounds five Shillings Sterling & that this day
I delivered to John Mcaulay Collector of said Duties, for the Burgh aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above acct [account]
duly examin'd and Compar'd with the foregoing, which contain'd my oath that notices were left with the
several Inhabitants or at their Dwelling houses of the dates annexed to their respective names, that the were
to be charged with the sums hereby certifyed to be due from them.
