I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Careful
examination of the foregoing Rates & duties I find they Amount in Whole to
£3.15.0 Ster [Sterling] and that upon the 2nd day of Novr [November] I Delivered to James Black
Collector of the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the
above accompt duly examined and Compared with the foregoing which
Contained my Oath that Notices were left with the Several Inhabitants
that they were to be Charged with the Sums Set against their Several Names
