I William Johnstone Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination I find the foregoing Duties amount to
Two hundred and Forty nine pounds Ten shillings Sterling And that upon the Twenty ninth day of October 1787 I delivered to
David Renton Collector of the County of Berwick an exact duplicate of this Accompt duely examined & compared which
contained my Oath That Requisitions were sent to the several foregoing Inhabitants and that they were charged according
to their answers thereto, or according to my knowledge and belief that the were liable in said duties.
