I James Allan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that the above Rates & Dutys
amounts to One pound five Shillings Stling [Sterling] & that upon the 16th Currt [current], I delivered to
Mr William Napier Collector of the said dutys a Copy of the above Account, which contained
my Oath that a Notice was left with the foregoing Inhabitant or at his dwelling House that
He was to be charged with the said duty Certified to be due from him
