from 5th July 1785 to 5th April 1786 p [per] James Allan Surveyor

I James Allan Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby That upon carefull Examination of the
Foregoing several Rates & duties I find they amount in whole to Twelve pounds three Shillings and Nine
pence Sterg [Sterling] and that upon 23rd Current I delivered to Mr John McGibbon in Stirling Collector of the
Said duties for the Borough aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above account duly examined & compared
with the foregoing which contained my Oath that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at
their Dwelling Houses of the dates annexed to their respective names that they are chargeable with the sums
set against their several Names certified to be due from them
