from 5th Jul 1785 To 5 April 1786 by James Allan Surveyor
I James Allan Surveyor do hereby Certify That upon Examination of the foregoing Rate & dutie
I find its Amount to be Eighteen Shillings & Nine pence Sterg [Sterling] and that upon 8th Current I delivered to
Mr Robert Chapman Collector of the said dutie for the Town Aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the Above
Account duly examined & Compared with the foregoing which Contained my Oath that a Requisition was
left with the foregoing Inhabitant or at his Dwelling house & that he was Chargeable with the Sum
hereby certified to be due from him
