I John Maughan Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull Examination of the
aforegoing Rates and Duties I find the Amount in the Whole To Three Hundred & Eighty Pounds
Eight Shillings and Nine pence and that upon the Thirtieth Day of March I delivered to
Mr George McQueen Collector of the said Duties for the City of Edinr [Edinburgh] an exact Duplicate of
the Aforegoing Accompt duly examined and compared which contained my oath that
Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their dwelling Houses of the dates
annexed to their respective Names by Mr John Maughan Surveyor
