5th April 1786
I John Wood Surveyor as above doe hereby Certify that in Consequence of Requisitions made by me
to the above persons Returns wer give into the Cess office Edinburgh Notifying that the Severally retained
the above Servants within the period requared Amounting to Twenty Nine Pounds Eight Shillings and Nine
pence Stg [Sterling] But these returns wer keept back & not delivered to me till that years Survey was wholy closed
a Duplicate whereof I have now given to the Collectors office
