[Page] 11Survey of the Duty arising upon Servants in the Town of Campbeltown from 25th March 1778 to 25th March 1779

I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid to hereby Certify That upon careful Examination of the foregoing Duty
I find it Amounts to One Pound one Shilling Sterling And I do Make Oath That of this date I put into the
Post Office of Inveraray under cover of a Letter Directed to the Town Treasurer of Campbeltown an exact Duplicate
of the above Accompt which contained my Oath that Notice was left with the above named Colonel Stewart or at his
dwelling House of the date prefixed to his Name And that the above Survey was made up from the Return made
to me in consequence thereof, or from the best Information I could otherwise procure.
