[Page] 29A Survey of the Duties on Male Servants arisen in the Burgh of Forfar
for one Year commenceing the twenty fifth day of March 1778 and ending
the twenty fifth day of March 1779 by William Greig Surveyor
I William Gregg Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination of the fore-
going Rates and Duties I find they amount in whole to One Pound one Shilling Sterling and
that upon the first day of May 1780 I delivered alexander Ogilvie Collector of the Cess of Said Burgh
and of the Said duties an exact Duplicate of the above Account (as will Appear from his receipt here unto
fixed) duly examined and Compared with the foregoing William Greig Surveyor
