retained or Employed between the 25th March 1778 and the 25th March last By Charles
Robb Assessor
Major Mellvill formerly 2 Servants now removed from Fife
Prooff 2 Servants @ £1.1.0 Sterling for one year is £2.2.0
I Charles Robb Assessor aforesaid Do hereby certifye that upon careful
Examination of the foregoing several rates and duties I find they amount in
whole to the sum of Two pounds two Shillings Sterling and that upon the
Fourth day of January I delivered to William Robertson Collector for the
burgh aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above accompT duly examined
and compared with the foregoing which contained my oath that notices were
left with the foregoing several inhabitants of the date before annexed that
they were to be charged with the sums hereby certifyed to be due from them.
