Survey of Kincardine Shire Continued

59 Servants for one Year ending the 25th March 1779 at £1.1.0 each is £61.19.0

I William Greig Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination of the
foregoing rates and duties I find they amount in whole to Sixty one pounds nineteen
shillings sterling And that upon the ... day of ... 1780 I delivered to Mr John
Duncan Writer in Stonehaven Collector of the said duties for the Shire aforesaid an exact
Duplicate of the above Accompt (Conform to his Receipt hereunto fixed) duly examined and
compared with the foregoing which contained my oath that Notices were left with the
several persons before named or at their dwelling houses of the duties annexed to their
respective names requiring them within the space of fourteen days to give in a list of the
Servants retained or employed by them for the year before mentioned And that the said
Accomptor Survey was made out from the lists returned to me and from the best
information I could procure of the Servants of those who neglected or refused to return
a list of their Servants in terms of the Notices left with them as aforesaid
