From the 5th of July 1777 To the 25th of March 1778 By George Ballantyne Assessor
I George Ballantyne Assessor aforesaid having made an exact Survey over the whole Burgh
find that the Servants subject to the payment of the Duty Taxed by the late Act of Parliament are all mentioned
and Contiand in the preceding list thereof wrote upon this Page, which contains the Names of the Gentlemen they
Serve in the Burgh, the names of the Servants Taxed and their several Employments with the Duty annexed
to each. From the 5th of July 1777 To the 25th of March 1778 Amounting in whole to the Sum of Two
Pounds Five Shillings Sterling. The foresaid Survey being an exact Duplicate of that sent to
Collector of the said Duties for the Burgh aforesaid. George Ballantyne
