Assessment of the Duty on Servants within the Town of Elgin from the fifth day of July one thousand seven hundred and Seventy seven To the twenty fifth day of March One thousand seven hundred and Seventy Eight. By Archibald Duff SurveyorI Archibald Duff Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify That upon carefull Examination of foregoing duties they amount in whole to three pounds Sterling. And I do make oath, that Notices were left with the whole foregoing persons or at their dwelling houses of the date, aforesaid in terms of the Act of Parliament.
