Day of November Seventeen
Hundred & Seventy one years.
Compeared before me George Cranston
Esqr. Collector of the Land Tax for the Shire
of Roxburgh who maketh oath that what
is contained on this & the Thirty nine
preceeding pages is a true & exact Copy of
the Valuation Book by which he collects the
Land Tax of the said County, he having
taken their Copy with his own hand sent
I have dilligently Compared it with
the original.
