Upon a representation by William McDowall Esquire of Castlesemple to the Commissioners That (in the original book) the following lands stood in cumulo valuation after specified Vizt. The Lands of Glen and Calderhaugh at Two thousand one hundred and twenty four pounds And Corseford Tenants at One hundred pounds making together Two thousand two hundred and twenty four pounds scots. And that by a former Valuation book of the County a certified Copy whereof was by order of the County procured from Exchequer | £2124.0.0 £100.0.0 | £2224.0.0 | ||
and now lodged with the Clerk of Supply the said lands stand valued in separate Articles. That as he had an Interest in several parcels of these lands he craved that the division thereof might be transposed from the former to the latter valuation book in order to be a rule for payment of the cess by each proprietor for his own lands in time coming Which desire the Commissioners having considered and having compared the same with the County books They by their Act the fourth of August Seventeen hundred | ||||
and sixty seven Appointed the said lands of Glen and Calderhaugh and Corseford to be divided as in the said valuation book And to stand rated in this book and to pay cess and public burdens as the same were divided in the former cess roll which is as follows Vizt | ||||
