At Kirkcudbright the Twenty sixth day of November in the year
One thousand eight hundred and nineteen -
General Meeting of the Commissioners of the Landtax for the Stewartry of
Kirkcudbright called by the Conveners by Advertisements in the Dumfries
Weekly Journal and Dumfries and Galloway Courier published on the
Ninth day November current, for the dispatch of Business, and
particularly for authenticating the New Valuation Roll of the Stewartry
David Blair Esquire of Borgue
chosen Preses
This is the True and Proper Valuation Roll of the Stewartry of
Kirkcudbright, made up by the Commissioners of the Landtax for the
said Stewartry, and their Clerk; and the same is subscribed by the
Preses, and by Adam Maitland Esquire of Dundrennan and
William Mure Esquire of Twynholm Mains Conveners of the said
Commissioners, and also by James Niven of Glenarm Writer in
Kirkcudbright Clerk of Supply for the said Stewartry, in presence
of the Meeting, and before these Witnesses James Burnie and
Thomas McClellan Notaries Public both residing in Kirkcudbright
and William Little and David Niven Writers both residing
there.
