4 Jun 1751. And, by another decree of this date, the Lands of Tonguehouse, purchased by the Duke of Queensberry, were disjoined from the above valuation of Carcoside and Knockenstob, and appointed to tbe added to his cumulo, at the rate of 25.0.0
Thereby making his Grace's cumulo valuation in the Presbytery of Penpont amount to 31694.10.0
The Duke of Queensberry and his Tenants have paid all parochial assessments for his Lands in the Presbytery of Penpont, since the year 1777, conform to the following statement, viz:-
For his Lands in the parish of Durrisdeer, 6946.8.4
For his Lands in the parish of Closeburn, 2225.10.0
For his Lands in the parish of Kirkconnell, 6449.10.0
For his Lands in the parish of Penpont, 5112.1.8

For his Lands in the parish of Tynron 1258.3.4
Forming together the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry's present cumulo valuation in the Presbytery of Penpont, 31413.6.8
30 Apr 1827. And with the valuation of Glenmade in Closeburn, disjoined from his Grace's cumulo of this date, 185.0.0
And that of Goosehill in Sanquhar, at same time disjoined from the cumulo, 96.3.4

What is written on this and the one hundred and twenty-nine preceding pages, is the true and proper VALUATION ROLL of the COUNTY of DUMFRIES, as it stands at present, with an APPENDIX. shewing the whole alterations thereon, that have taken place since the date of the Original Roll 1671, made up by the COMMISSIONERS of SUPPLY and their Clerk, and the same is subscribed by Sir THOMAS KIRKPATRICK, of Closeburn, Baronet, Preses of the Meeting, and by
ROBERT THRESHIE, writer in Dumfries, Clerk of Supply of the said County of Dumfries, in presence of the Meeting, and before these witnesses, THOMAS CRICHTON and DAVID ROSS, both Clerks to the said ROBERT THRESHIE.
