14 Sep 1741 The Lands that pertained to Johnston of Wamphray, and which now belong to the Earl of Hopetoun, with his Lands in the parish of Dalton, were valued in cumulo at 2800 merks, and, by decree of the Commissioners of this date, the Lands of Broadgill, in Dalton parish, were disjoined from said cumulo, and appointed to be rated in that parish per se, at 70 merks, thereby reducing his Lordship's cumulo to 2730.0.0.
3 Jan 1799 The Lands of Aitkienow and others, belonging to Captain William Hope of the Royal Navy, were, by decree of the Commissioners of this date, disjoined from the cumulo valuation of the Marquis of Annandale, and appointed to be here stated separately, at, 273.0.0
30 Apr 1808 The Lands which pertained to Johnston of Wamphray, were valued at, 2730.0.0

The Marquis of Annandale's haill rent, stock, and teind, within the Sheriffdom of Dumfries, comprehending the Stewartry of Annandale, the Five Kirks of Eskdale, with the Lands of Gillesbie and Thorniwhat, Boighead in Dryfesdale, Broom in Cummertrees, Stabletoune in Dornock, Reidhall and Calvertsholm, the Merkland of Righeads in Kirkpatrick-Fleeming, the Lands of Newbie and Annand, Forty Shillingland of Greengatehouse, and Five Merkland in Middlebie, Mayes, Milns, Kaynes, Customs, and other casualties
exactly considered stood valued in the valuation book, as rectified in May 1671, at 18,232.6.8
To which there falls to be added the valuation of the Lands of Slork, in the parish of Drysedale, by decree of the Commissioners of this date, 59.0.0
