We Hugh Hamilton Esq. of Pinmore, John Hunter of
Bonnyton and Richard Campbell Esq of Helentonmains
all Commissioners of Supply for the County of Ayr appointed by
the General Meeting of this County upon the Thirtieth day of April last
as a Committee to compare and attest an authentick Duplicate
of the Valuation Book of the Shire of Ayr to be transmitted to the
Court of Exchequer in Scotland, by order of the Right Honourable the
~Barons; and having accordingly Compared the same with John
Boswell Writer in Ayr Clerk to the said Commissioners of Supply for
Ayrshire We do hereby Certify That what is written upon
this and the Eighty seven preceeding pages is an exact and
authentick Duplicate of the Valuation Book of the County of
Ayr with the addition of the names of the Proprietors of each article
or parcel of Land, in so far as could be ascertained at making up
said Book. And we do further Certify That the total valuation
of the County of Ayr amounts to the Sum of One hundred and
Ninety one thousand, six hundred and five pounds, and seven
pennies Scots, as contained in the foresaid Book. In Witness
whereof We have subscribed these presents At Ayr the Seventh
day of May One Thousand eight hundred and three years.
