A Survey of the Duties on Carriage and Saddle Horse In the Royal Burgh of Rutherglen for the year from the
5th April 1789 to the 5th April 1790 Surveyed on the 15th July 1790 by William Mure Surveyor

I William Mure Surveyor aforesaid, do hereby Certify, that upon Carefull Exmination of the
foregoing Several Rates and Duties, I find they amount, in Whole to Four pounds Ten Shilling Sterling
and that upon the ___ I delivered To Mr. John Dykes Collector of the said
Duties for the Burgh Aforesaid, an Exact Duplicat of the above account, Duly Examined &
Compared with the foregoing, which Contained my Oath that Requisitions were left with the
Several Inhabitants or at their Dwelling houses, of the dates Annexed to their respective names
& that they were to be Charged with the Sums hereby Certified to be due from them
