9 Horse at £0.10.0 each for a year is £4.10.0
I Patrick McDonald Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Carefull
[examination] of the foregoing rates and duties on Sadle Horses, I find they Amount
in whole to Four pounds ten shillings Sterling, and that I delivered to Thomas Eddie
Collector of said duties for the Town of Forres an exact duplicate of the
[foregoing] duly examined and Compared, which Contained my Oath that the foregoing
[inhabitants] were served with requisitions and that the Assessments are made
[from] the lists and Answers now in my possession.
