Survey of the Carriage and Horse Tax in the Burgh of LochmabonFrom 5 April 1788 to 5 April 1789 by William Currie Surveyor
I William Currie aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Carefull Examination of the foregoing several
rates and duties I find they amount to Ten Shillings Sterlg [Sterling] and that upon the 26 day of
[ ] 1788 I delivired to Provost Robert Maxwell Coller. [Collector] for the said duties for the Burgh aforesaid
an exact duplicate of the foregoing which Containd my Oath that Requisitions were left with
the Several Inhabitant or at their dwelling Houses of the date anexed to their
respective names and the Above is the Returns made by them to me or where
faild by the best Information I Could get.
