I Robert Maughan Surveyor Aforesaid Do hereby Certify that upon Careful examination
of the foregoing Accompt I find the Amount in the Whole To be Four hundred and
Eight Pounds Seven Shillings and Sixpence Sterling. And that upon the 13th Day
of February Seventeen Hundred & Ninety Years I delivered to Mr George
McQueen Collector of the Said Duties in the City of Edinbr [Edinburgh] an exact Duplicate
of the Foregoing Accompt duly examined and Compared which Contained my
oath that Notices or requisitions were left with the several Inhabitants or
at their Dwelling houses By Me Robert Maughan Surveyor
