Transcriber's notes

It is not clear where 'there' refers to with regard to Mrs. Home. In 1788 & 1793 she was designated as being at Auchinbowie (Auchenbowie on the map), and in 1790 and 1791 it was written as Achinboy. This must be what is meant here, though the name is not written.
