I Duncan MacNuier Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon carefull examination of the foregoing
Rates and Duties I find they amount in whole to Four pounds five shillings stg [sterling] And that upon the 22nd
April 1789 I delivered to Donald Campbell Esqr Collector of the said duty for the Burgh aforesaid an exact
duplicate of the above Account duly examined and Compared with the foregoing which contained my oath that
notifications or Requisitions were given to the whole foregoing Inhabitants or left at their dwelling houses of the respective
rates aforesaid And that the above Survey was made up from the Returns made to me in consequence thereof and
from the best information I could otherwise obtain.
