A Survey of the [Female Servants Tax] in the Shire of Selkirk from the 5 April 1787 [5 Apr 1787] to the 5 April 1788 [5 Apr 1788] by W Brunton

I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby Certify that upon Careful
examination of the foregoing Duties I find they amount to £7.17.6 Sterling
and that upon the 31 day of Octbr [31 Oct 1787] I Delivered to John Scott Collector
of the Said Duties for the Shire aforesaid an exact Duplicate of the above
accompt Duly examined & Compared with the foregoing which Contained my
Oath that Notices were left with the Several Inhabitants that the were
to be Charged with the Sums set against their Several Names
