I William Brunton Surveyor aforesaid do hereby certify that upon careful
examination I find the above duties amount to thirty eight pounds twelve [shillings]
and that upon [word missing] day of [word missing] I delivered to Gideon Heedham
Collector of these duties for the Shire aforesaid an exact duplicate of the above duty
compared which contained my oath that the proceeding made by hand were duly served
with Requisition of the said above dates desiring them within fourteen days to deliver
or cause to be delivered to me upon calling that that purpose added list of all the
Horses used and employed by them from 5 April 1797 to 5 of April 1798
as well as an account of what horses they might use and employ any where else
and that the foregoing report was made up from their several Attested lists or returns
to me from the best information I could procure or from my own knowledge of the
respective Establishments [signed] William Brunton
