I James Allan Surveyor Aforesaid do hereby certify That upon careful
Examination of the foregoing several Rates & duties I find they Amount
in whole to Two pounds three Shillings Strg. [Sterling] and that upon the 23rd Current
I delivered to Mr John McGibbon in Stirling Collector of the said
Duties for the Borough aforesaid an exact duplicate of the Above Accounts
duly examined & Compared with the foregoing which contained my Oath
that Notices were left with the several Inhabitants or at their Dwelling
Houses of the dates annexed to their respective names that they are chargebale
with the Sums set against their several Names certified to be due from them
